Full Mouth Reconstruction

The Victoria & 54th Dental team takes great pride in the ability to offer full mouth reconstruction. Dr. Fung has studied under the top cosmetic and full mouth reconstruction dentists in Orange County and Beverly Hills.

Using proven technology and current techniques, our doctors have changed the smiles (and lives) of many patients. Our team combines science, technology and art to make each patient feel their best.

Each case and patient is unique and, therefore, each approach is different. But here is an example of what a full mouth reconstruction can involve:

  • Perform a comprehensive examination and create a treatment plan.
  • Treat issues requiring immediate attention, including pain, infection, broken teeth, etc.
  • Fabricate a diagnostic three-dimensional, physical model of your new smile.
  • Present case to you.
  • Prepare teeth as treatment planned and fabricate temporaries using templates based on the 3D model.
  • Regularly consult with you to ensure you are happy with your smile.

Discuss your options with any member of our clinical team, and let us create a beautiful new smile for you!

Dental Implants

People lose teeth for various reasons, including trauma, decay, and gum disease. But regardless of the cause, it is best if they can be replaced – both for aesthetic and functional reasons.

Now, dental implants are preferred.

A modern dental implant is made of titanium the size of the root of a tooth. It is placed where a tooth has been lost. Once the implant heals, it can be used to support a crown to replace a missing tooth or as a foundation to help stabilize a denture.

Strong, healthy bone is needed to hold implants in place. However, if a person loses a tooth and doesn’t have sufficient bone, a bone grafting procedure can be performed to support the implant.

Dental implants can be placed in patients of any age (with fully developed jawbones), provided they have a sufficient quantity and quality of bone tissue available. Most healthy individuals (with good oral hygiene) are suitable candidates for dental implants.

Dental implants have the following benefits over dentures and bridges:

  • Reduced bone loss
  • Improved function (they work just like natural teeth)
  • Better dental hygiene
  • No need to drill or remove healthy tooth structures
  • Better aesthetics
